HOLY WEEK “LA TAMBORADA DE HELLIN”

It takes place during Holy Week. Thousands of people play drumms over a period of 24 hours.

The party starts during the afternoon of Easter Saturday. In the morning of the Sunday of Resurrection, the Meeting between Jesus and his Sorrowing Mother is celebrated, preceded by the “tamborileros”.

Later on, there is a procession with several “pasos” (passion floats) being accompanied by marching drums.
