Saint Sebastian Day was approaching and I did not have enough time to drive up to the city of San Sebastián -The Basque Country-. The ‘Tamborrada’ of San Sebastian is a festival held every year on January 20th, the St. Sebastian´s Patron Saint´s Day. During the 24 hours the festival lasts, participants dressed as either cooks or military drummers from the Napoleonic period, march as ‘tamborradas’ playing drums and barrels throughout the streets of the city.
